All programs are approved by the Georgia Professional Standards Commission and accredited by the National Council for the Accreditation of (now Council for the Accreditation of Educator Preparation). Faculty and courses All of the department's full-time, tenured faculty hold terminal degrees in their disciplines, and many are nationally and internationally known. Courses are delivered using traditional methods and modern technologies, including online, distance learning, and web-enhanced instruction. The Albert Einstein Distinguished Educator Fellowship is a paid fellowship for K-12 science, math, engineering and technology (STEM) teachers.
